March into March!

This week is a great example of why I say Stikna Photography operates from sidelines to skylines. The schedule is packed with a mix of youth athletics, collegiate competition, and professional volleyball.

This week

I covered three Celebration Storm flag football games, continuing to document the growth of girls flag football in our community. The energy around the Storm program continues to build, and it’s always exciting to capture these athletes competing and improving each week.

Today is a double-header day for volleyball.

First stop is UCF Volleyball, where I’ll be photographing collegiate-level play and the speed and intensity that comes with it. From there I head straight to cover the Orlando Valkyries, one of the premier professional volleyball teams in the region. Covering matches at that level always pushes me creatively—faster play, tighter lighting conditions, and a great atmosphere for sports photography.

The week continues on Wednesday with more Celebration Storm flag football, keeping the focus on local athletes and community sports.

Next weekend I’ll be back on the professional circuit again covering another Orlando Valkyries match.

And the schedule doesn’t stop there. Beginning Monday I’ll also be covering the Celebration games during the OBC tournament, which should bring several competitive matchups and great moments to capture.

Weeks like this highlight exactly what Stikna Photography is about—supporting local athletes while also working at the collegiate and professional level.

If you see me on the sidelines this week, come say hello.

Have a picture perfect day.

— Eric Stikna
